Carolyn Murphy is a London-born, Manchester-based print artist. She creates large scale print installations and works on paper. Carolyn is interested in our complex interrelationship with the fragile world we share and with illusions of stability and control. Her works often explore ideas of damage and repair, fragmentation, the superficial and the hidden.

The works she is presenting in FLOW embrace movement, chance and the flowing infinite form of the Mobius strip.

She is a member of the Printmakers Council and exhibits regularly. Highlights to date include the RA Summer Exhibition 2025 and 2023, Bloomsbury Festival 2023 and her first solo show ‘Layer over Layer’ at the Stone Space in 2025.
