For Respun, Iliana Ortega-Alcázar is presenting a series of silkscreen monoprints.

The monoprints presented in this show are inspired in imagery of weathered graffities that were once bold. They refer to the agency that exists behind claims of belonging in the context of migration, as well as the fragility and contingency of such claims.
