The main theme explored focuses on self-reflection, questioning what is being projected to others and how this relates to her interior world. This spurred her on to create a series of self-portraits where she tried to defamiliarise her own face by experimenting with masking and obscuring through collage, cut-out paper and various print techniques using everyday ephemera.
